		Get Involved		As members of the 9/12 Project, it is important to get involved with your community and live by the 9/12 values and principles.  Perhaps that's identifying a problem and working with your neighbors to help create a community-based solution.  Or maybe it means volunteering, or organizing a charity or fund-raising event for a family in need.  Build coalitions and engage in advocacy; contact your local, state and federal elected officials on important issues.  You'll find the resources here.			


Directories of state and federal lawmakers for your district and nationally; tips on telephoning, writing & emailing Congress members; templates for letter-writing. Stay on top of proposed & pending legislation. Follow Congressional schedules & hearings.	Stay abreast of issue campaigns and advocacy activities. Find out about important causes that need your help.
